Following my last post there have been a couple of write-ups of the event, which was well attended, and resulted in a lively debate about the future of Preston Bus Station. It was great to take part and hear different responses to issues relating to vacant premises in Preston City Centre.

Gate 81: A project promoting the creative interpretation and remaking of Preston Bus Station
- Hannah

I and may other prestoians would love the bus station to be kept and made into a very useful icon as it is a great building, just been left to rot. Preston needs a bus station at this end of town,as it is really the center, why can’t a good restaurant be on the top floor ,with a dance area for the older section of people for a change then we might not have to travel to Manchester and other places for a quality night out, also a show could be included as the Guld hall is just there. We just need someone to rethink what could be done,Hope Mr Rigby gets the help he seems to really want to help.
